QA Analyst

Our team here at Causeview is looking for talented and resourceful individuals who are passionate about testing, finding bugs, and helping  produce top quality software. As we grow our Quality Assurance Team, our testers will be involved in triaging customer support issues, become a Causeview product expert, and ensure that our rapidly growing products maintain a high standard of quality.

The work you do will have a direct impact on the experience our users will have with our software.

  • Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical design documents

  • Defining and executing the QA test plan for features within product releases

  • Identify, record, thoroughly document and track bugs

  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

  • Assist our team in the reproduction and resolution of defects

  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, test strategies, and test automation

  • Improve and aid in the maintenance of automated testing solutions

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent

  • Keen eye for software quality with ability to hunt for bugs and investigate problems in order to determine root causes

  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes, and best practices

  • Solid knowledge of SQL (or any RDB) and scripting

  • Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment with tight deadlines

  • Understanding of SDLC and knowledge/experience working in software development

  • Experience with automated testing tools is a plus

  • Experience with performance, stress, load and/or security testing is a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce, CRM, or a Donation Management application is a plus
